Roy's brother, Elmer "Dutch" Huber, was in his early twenties when WWI began.

He was 24 years old when he was registered 5 Jun 1917 in Midway, UT
It appears he was managing the family property in Midway while his other two brothers worked up in Wyoming.

From this we learn that Elmer had an eighth grade education and was employed by his father.
Military Service Card:

From this record we learn that Elmer WAS shipped overseas between 17 Sept 1918- 4 Jan 1919, but as the was was officially over in November 1918 I doubt that he saw much combat. He was honorably discharged 24 Jan 1919.

This record indicates he was with the Army in the Btry A 145 FA, it reconfirms the dates of his enlistment, discharge, birth, and death.
It ALSO shows that his card is kept in the same file as his brother Frank and Vera's brother Martin.
