Della and Doris through the years

Doris and Della were Vera's two younger sisters.
As they spent significant time together as the youngest of 11 living children, there are a handful of photos of them enjoying life together.
* The "personal albums of Gene Nyberg" are the albums he inherited from his mother, Della.  They are all attributed to her assembly and to his wisdom in holding on to them.

Doris Althea Taylor Ross passed away peacefully during the early morning hours of Christmas Eve; just weeks shy of her 98th birthday.
Doris was born January 18, 1913 in Chester, Utah. In 1915, Doris's family moved by covered wagon to the Uintah Basin. Only two years old at the time, Doris was in charge of holding the family's cat during the long journey.

Doris enjoyed playing the piano, singing, watching the Lawrence Welk Show, tending her garden, spending time with her family and friends, and reading the newspaper every morning with a good cup of coffee. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to people and animals, her sense of humor, and her youthful spirit, which stayed strong for nearly 98 years.
