Leslie Taylor and Audrey Whitlock

Leslie Taylor was one of Vera's older brothers.

He married Audrey K. Whitlock of Leeton, Utah on 19 Sept 1931 in Vernal, Uintah, Utah (although Leslie's obituary states they were married in 1932, the documents below say otherwise.)
Thus, she became Audrey K. Whitlock Taylor.

Marriage licenses were issued by County Clerk Wilson Murray during the past week to the following: September 19, Leslie D Taylor of Lapoint and Audrey Whitlock of Leeton.  They were married by H.B. Calder.  The groom is the son of Roy Taylor and the bride the daughter of W.L.Whitlock.

Leslie D. Taylor was an older brother to Vera.

According to this funeral notice, the following dates apply:
BIRTH: 5 Oct 1904; Chester, Sanpete, Utah
DEATH: 31 Jan 1966; ,Uintah, Utah
He was 61 years old when he died.

Funeral Rites Set to Honor Leslie Taylor
Funeral services for Leslie D. Taylor, 61, Bennett, will be held (today) Thursday in the Vernal Second Ward Chapel at 11 a.m. Mr. Taylor died Monday noon in his home of natural causes.
He was born October 5, 1904, Chester, Sanpete County, a son of Roy and Roxa Anderson Taylor. He married Audrey Whitlock September 19, 1932 in Vernal.
Mr. Taylor was a member of the LDS Church. He was a rancher and a stockman. He loved his home and took great pride in his beautiful flower gardens and yard.
Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Maxine) Fazzio of Salt Lake City; two brothers and five sisters, Mrs. Zelma Jensen, Bremerton, Wash.; Mrs. Cora Hayward, Bountiful; Mrs. Vera Huber, Lapoint; Mrs. Della Nyberg, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Doris Ross and Rex, both of Vernal and Sherman of Meeker, Colo.
Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park Cemetery.
