Death info on Cynthia Taylor

Cynthia Lyman Taylor was a sister-in-law to Vera.  She married Vera's brother, Rex.

According to these documents, the following dates apply:
BIRTH: 6 Jan 1903- Boulder, Garfield, Utah
DEATH: 30 April 1968- Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah
She was 65 years old when she died.

Vernal Teacher Services Set For Saturday
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Maeser Ward Chapel for Cynthia Lyman Taylor, 65, who died at 5:00a.m. in the St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Mrs. Taylor was born January 6, 1903 in Boulder to Amothy and Elizabeth Moosman Lyman.  She married Rex Taylor May 16, 1928 in the Manti LDS Temple.
She was a school teacher in the Uintah School District for 30 years, and was active in the LDS Church.  She was Era director, and taught Sunday School in the Tridell Ward at one time.
Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Taylor Huber Willard, Maeser; three grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Donna Swain, Neola; Genieva Felstead, Granger; Paul, Granger; Reed, Provo; Oscar, San Francisco, California.

A Large crowd from Lapoint attended the funeral services for Mrs. Rex Taylor in Vernal Saturday.  The Taylors were former residents of Lapoint and Mrs. Taylor taught school here for many years.  Mr. Taylor drove the school bus and was a farmer.  They were very active in the Lapoint ward.

Cynthia Taylor Rites Held In Maeser Ward
Funeral services for Cynthia Taylor of Maeser were held at 11:00a.m. Saturday, May 4 in the Maeser Second Ward Chapel, conducted by Floyd Campbell, counselor in the bishopric.
Fred Reynolds gave the opening prayer, followed by remarks by Bishop Henry Mansfield, Glad and Elizabeth Sowards sang "Unanswered Yet", accompanied by Eloise Adams.
Speakers were Loren McKee and Hugh Colton.  Danna Dee Smith and Keith Adams sang "That Beautiful Land", accompanied by Mrs. Adams.  Carl Searle gave the closing prayer.
Coy Hayward dedicated the grave.  Burial was in the Maeser Fairview cemetery.  Pallbearers were Ray, Tex, Ralph and Dean Huber, E.E. (Pete)Willard and Joe Fazzio.
Attending from out-of-town were Ethel Taylor and Ina Rollins, Craig; the Sherman Taylors and Dick Merrians, Meeker; Helen Hanson, Grand Junction; Jess Gray, the Joe Fazzios, Audrey Taylor, the Paul Lymans, the Byron Fjelsteds and Reva Denlinger, all of Salt Lake City.
Coy Hayward, Bountiful; the Oscar Lymans, California; the Orin Swains, Neola; the Rex Hubers, Hume, Virginia; Ray Huber, Logan and Ralph Huber, Provo.

VERNAL- Cynthia Lyman Taylor, 65, died of natural causes April 30 in a Salt Lake City hospital.  Born Jan. 6, 1903, Boulder, Garfield County, to Amasa and Elizabeth Jane Moosman Lyman.  Married to Rex Taylor, May 16, 19 28, Manti LDS Temple.  School teacher.  Survivors: husband; daughter, Mrs. Pete (Dawn) Willard, Verna; 3 grandsons; brothers, sisters, Paul, Mrs. Byron Fielstead, both Salt Lake City; Reed, Provo; Oscar, San Francisco; Mrs. Hank Swain, Neola, Duchesne County.  Funeral Saturday 11 a.m., Maeser LDS Ward Chapel, Vernal.  Friends call Vernal Mortuary, Friday, 7-9 p.m., Saturday prior to services.  Burial Maeser Cemetery.

Because Cynthia passed away in the last 50 years, her death certificate will not become publicly available until sometime after 2018.  I will add it to this post as soon as I can obtain it on public record.
