Death info on Elmer "Dutch" Huber

Elmer "Dutch" Huber was Roy's oldest brother.

Elmer Huber
LAPOINT, Uintah County-- Elmer (Dutch) Huber, 65, died after a lingering illness Friday, 5 a.m. at his residence. Born Sept 19, 1892, Midway, to Henry Albert and Margaret Abegglin Huber. Married Irva Fillerup, May 29, 1922, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. LDS German mission; veteran World War I. Survivors widow, three sons, two daughters, Merlin E., Marvin A., Lulu Margaret Huber, Lapoint. Funeral Monday 11 a.m. Lapoint LDS ward Chapel. Friends call Vernal Mortuary Sunday evening family residence, Monday, 9 to 11 a.m. Burial Lapoint Cemetery.

Elmer Huber, 65, Funeral Services Held at Lapoint
Funeral services were held at the Lapoint Ward chapel Monday at 11 a.m. for Elmer (Deutsch) Huber, 65, who died last Friday at 5 a.m. at his residence in Lapoint after a lingering illness.
Bishop Adrian Kump conducted the services, Invocation was offered by Loman F. Hutchings.
Mr. Marman and Archie Johnson were the speakers with remarks by Bp. Kump. Musical numbers were furnished by a chorus of four from Midvale and were songs which were composed by Mr. Huber's grandfather.
Benediction was offered by Hayden Foster.
Pallbearers were Dean, Lynn, Glenn, Clayton, Darrell, and Ken Huber, nephews.
Burial was in the Lapoint Cemetery under the direction of the Vernal Mortuary with Alma Huber of Midway dedicating the grave.
The Witbeck Post No. 11 American Legion conducted a military ceremony with June Hacking as chaplain.
Mr. Huber was born Sept 19, 1892, in Midway, Wasatch County, a son of Henry Albert and Margaret Abegglin Huber.
He married Irva Fillerup, May 29, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. They are parents of five children.
Mr. Huber filled a mission for the LDS Church to Germany and Switzerland from 1912 to 1914. He was a veteran of World War I, serving with the 145th Field Artillery.
Mr. Huber had been a farmer and rancher.
Survivors are his widow and two sons, Merlin E. and Marvin A. Huber, all of Lapoint; another son, Doyle Lyman Huber, Salt Lake City; two daughters, Mrs. Berlin C. (Shirley) Jensen, Roy; and Lulu Margaret Huber, who is attending the BYU; seven grandchildren and a brother, LeRoy Huber, Lapoint.
