Roy LeGrand Taylor and Ethel Swensen

Roy LeGrand Taylor was one of Vera's older brothers.

He married Ethel Elizabeth Swensen of Lapoint, Utah on 31 Mar 1920 (although BOTH of their obituaries state that they married in 1919, the marriage license states otherwise...)
Thus, she became Ethel S. Taylor.

They must have had a dear friend working at the newspaper to have THREE social commentaries written up about their wedding with so much goodwill written into them.  :)

  1. You have done such an AMAZING JOB on this blog! I enjoy sharing it with my father-in-law, Roy and Ethel's only surviving son Calvin Max Taylor. I do have small request for a correction on this particular posting however, if it's not too much trouble, please change the heading from LeRoy Taylor and Ethel Swensen, to the correct name for Calvin's father which is Roy LeGrand Taylor (you do have correct elsewhere on the blog, just not on this page). Also, I just recently came across a typed copy of the talks given at Roy's funeral, there is at least one page missing at the end however as page 8 stops mid-sentence. Would you like me to email you a copy of it?
