Dean Huber and family

Dean Albert Huber was Roy's younger brother.
He just barely lived to adulthood, so there aren't many photos on him.  The following are what I have on him and his little family that he left too soon.

"Dean A Huber"

"Frank, Ida and Dean Huber" (rest of notes omitted for this post)

"Ida and Dean Huber- CROPPED"

Image is cropped from the photo directly preceding it.
"Ida Huber and baby Deanie"

"Deanie Huber- Dean's daughter"

Ida Huber later remarried a man by the name of Harold Thomas Ringwood, and their surviving family story goes from there.

Huber boys in photos

The following are additional photos of LeRoy Huber and his brothers, Elmer, Dean, and Frank, from various ages in life.
From personal albums of Shirley Jensen
"baby Elmer Huber"
From personal albums of Clayton Huber
"Cute little Roy Huber'

From personal albums of Kathryn Walker, and Shirley Jensen
"Maggie and Henry Albert Huber sons"
Far left on stool is Roy, back center is Elmer, Frank standing, and baby Dean.

From personal albums of Clayton Huber
Labeled on back as "Roy Huber's brother, Dean"
But I couldn't get exact confirmation on that.

From personal albums of Kathryn Walker
"First person is Elmer Huber, the rest is unknown"
I can identify: Elmer, ?, ?, Dean, Roy, ?
As they all have a Huber look about them, I'm betting they're cousins.
From personal albums of Kathryn Walker
"Dean, maybe Elmer, Frank"
I really doubt that's Elmer in the middle there- perhaps a cousin?

Young Vera and Roy

The following are the remaining photos I have of Vera and Roy respectively in their youth.
From the personal albums of Clayton Huber
"Vera on left with family posing"
Don't know who the other two are (siblings? cousins?), but I love how they all have cigarettes in their mouths.
From the personal albums of Clayton Huber
"Vera far left- others unknown"
I'm assuming they're friends.  It's too bad this one is torn.
Someone's written "frightened" on the top left- perhaps sitting on a fence post with only one hand supporting you up there made her nervous?

From the personal albums of Clayton Huber
"Roy with ladies"
Don't know who ladies are- cousins? "friends"?
From the personal albums of Kathryn Walker
"Roy Huber in staged photo"
Something to do with the railroad- looks as though this could be a cropped photo too...
From the personal albums of Martin Huber
"Roy Huber on hay tractor"
Don't know who the other guy standing is, though...
Roy looks more fatherly than youthful here (esp with the car in the background) but I still felt it important to include it all the same.

LeRoy and Vera on 1930 and 1940 Census

This is what the 1930 U.S. Census showed for Roy and Vera Huber:
SOURCE: ancestry.com
More particular source info is found at the bottom of the image, although pertaining search info is on Roy's brother, Frank, and his family.  They are listed right above the highlighted area of Roy's family.
Information we obtain from this document:
As of 4 April 1930, Roy and Vera and their family lived in Lapoint, Uintah, Utah.
They had three children at this point: June (daughter, 4), Rhea (daughter, 2), and Dean (son, 10 mos.)
Another confirmation that Roy's mother (Margaretha Abegglen Huber- not listed) was from Switzerland.
Roy is confirmed as a farmer by occupation, engaged in "General Farming".
Roy was a veteran of the "World War".
Confirmation that Roy was 27 years old when he married 16 year old Vera (wow...)
